ISD's annual magazine Imprints released

Indian School Darsait First Annual School Magazine Imprints was released by Tonny George Alexander, Chairman Board of Directors, Indian schools in Oman, last week.

Omanakuttan N, president of the School Management Committee and other members of the Management Committee also attended the function. The programme started with a speech by Pranov R Krishnan, headboy of the school. Tony Alexander released the magazine by giving the first copies to Elizabeth Varghese, Shobha Krishnan and Abhijith Ullas.

In his speech, Tonny Alexander said that he was quite nostalgic as he had the privilege of releasing his college magazine and he was well aware of the hard work that goes into bringing out a magazine. He congratulated the editorial board and hoped that the students would use their creativity in bringing out such magazines in future as well.

Nita Alisa Mathew of IX C read out the autobiography of Imprints. The school principal, Srinivas K Naidu presented a memento to Tonny Alexander.

The function was made colourful by the scintillating dance performance by Malavika Mohan and group and the melodious song by Sanhita Srinivas. The programme ended with the vote of thanks by the headgirl Deepthy Unnikrishnan.

Imprints not only highlights the events and achievements but also showcases the creative talents and writing skills of the students along with messages by dignitaries associated with the school. this magazine is a great platform for the school's budding writers, artists and journalists.

The release of the magazine was a memorable moment for all at Indian Sschool Darsait.
